Goldie knows that a bank is a building where you can save or borrow money from it. The most important in our country is the Federal Reserve System, which oversees whether other banks are working properly, it is their boss. For example, it takes care of insurance companies, exchange offices, payment institutions or investment companies. The Federal Reserve System also does a number of other things. One of its tasks is to issue new coins and banknotes.
